Missing Blaine
The empty look in my eyes
The far away stare
I'm missing Blaine
The thought of his smile and
his golden red hair
I'm missing Blaine
his hugs, his love,
his laughter, his jokes
I'm missing Blaine
The "Mom, come see this!"
"Mom, can you help me?"
"When's Daddy getting home?"
I'm missing Blaine
Reading Bible Stories,
talking while tucking him in at night
I'm missing Blaine
Watching him walk down to the bus,
Watching him walk up the drive
after school with his trumpet,
waiting to tell him that I missed him and
love him and ask him how his day went
I'm missing Blaine
Knowing when I look outside
I will no longer see him walk up the drive
It hurts, I cry
I'm missing Blaine
I want to hear him, see him, feel him
Oh God, how I'm missing Blaine!
Blaine's baptismal picture is a reminder
God's word tells me that the day will come,
when we'll be together again.
He will see me through.
Until that day comes,
I'll be missing Blaine.

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm Blaine's mom.
Our lives were forever changed on November 27, 2003 (Thanksgiving Day). That was the day that Blaine was killed in a four-wheeler accident. I would like to introduce you to him and our family through the pages of this site.
Blaine was very special. He may just touch your heart as he has touched many others.
